David Niall Wilson has opened Macabre Ink Digital Publishing. The site will function as a market for short fiction, novels, collections, and anthologies. The main focus of the site is to give a second life to stories that have already been published and are now just sitting on hard drives wasting space. Stories can be downloaded for $1.00 each in PDF, MOBI, KINDLE, and EPUB formats. If a reader buys 12 or more stories, or spends $13.00 or more on downloads, there is a Readers Choice discount. The site will be expanding to include a number of new authors in the near future. Updates on whats available at http://www.macabreink.com/macabreinkpublishing--the store is at http://www.macabreink.store. Be sure to check the About and Guidelines pages. Mark Tiedemann
says, Starting off on a positive
step, Ive made a change on the site. Not
much of a one, but it could lead to something special. The Art page at www.marktiedemann.com has been
static for some time now. Technical issues
among other things. But I decided to move the
art to a site that can give me a little better control and offer the possibility of
expanding this part of my creative life. Take
the plunge, go for it, I say, put your stuff out there where people can see it. So over the weekend, with a bit of help from my
webmaster, I changed the Art link to a hosting site that offers a nicer look and some
bells and whistles. You can go to my main page
and click on Art or just go to http://markimages.zenfolio.com/. If I get enough visitors, comments, hits, etc that
it seems worthwhile, I can upgrade this site to allow people to purchase an original Meantime, I can add more images to this page much
more easily than with the original and the display is better. Im fairly pleased with the look. So if you think its worth a look, please
spread the word. I think (he admits modestly)
Ive done some decent photography in my time and Ive been wanting to showcase
it to more advantage. This might be the
solution. Thank you and enjoy the show. Andrew Zimmerman Jones has written String Theory for Dummies as part of Wiley
Publishings popular For Dummies series, just going to show that you can
write anything simple enough if you try. Jones science writing can regularly be
viewed on the About.com Physics site at http://physics.about.com/
